Yes, but it is minimal in comparison to other CO2 lasers. In the first day or two, your skin may appear a little red, swollen, and irritated as if you had a sunburn. Be sure to keep your skin hydrated and always apply a high SPF (we will have your treatment protocol and pre & post regimen for you). Our patients show little evidence of the procedure within 7-8 days.
